Heartfelt Service: Bringing Joy to Puthupathy Village
Reflecting on a heartwarming memory of bringing joy to underprivileged children by providing them with clothes, books, and essentials, and the enduring desire to continue serving those in need.
I can never forget the moment when those children were eagerly asking for storybooks asking "Akka Book thanga" "Akka Book Thanga". I was stunned by the happiness they had when they were wearing dresses that we bought.
I wanted to write about this wonderful memory before a year. My all-time life goal would be to serve poor people in this world to improve their life. This was such a day a year before. From morning I hear all things that were in my mind. We from our college Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham went to a place where all poor children were suffering for even dresses. I remember their happiness when we students and teachers gave food and dresses along with notes, pencils, books for studying and all. I can never forget the moment when those children were eagerly asking for storybooks asking "Akka Book thanga" "Akka Book Thanga". I was stunned by the happiness they had when they were wearing dresses that we bought. It has become one year and thanks for Google photos for reminding me of memories that lasted. I can never forget that Akka who was with me all through that school journey.
I remember the name of that village PUTHUPATHY. I was actually like a new joiner only at the end of my first semester not even know any person out of my class. Don't even know most of the professors in our department. But still, we all went not for anyone but for myself and I was with real happiness that day. By one year everything feels like changed but still, the heart feels like it wants it. I love that day and will never forget that day. Now I miss it but soon I will do things to improve my society. LoVe my INDIA. LoVe its culture. LoVe the People. LoVe to do something for this world.
